Medieval cloister herbularius
I 'll finish my herbularius in a few days. I am stitching beads

And now, I think I'll wash my herbularius but I am a little frightened with the silk threads specially with Caron threads. What do you think?

It's Gorgeous Marie-Christine! Personally I wouldn't wash it though. I've had Caron silks run before. Good luck!

Hmm... I've heard that Caron Waterlilies sometimes run when you wash them.... do you HAVE to wash Herbie? :)

I wouldn't wash it either! Unless there're marks, grubby spots that you think will be obvious when framed and won't be hidden by mats. I used several mats and a fillet border for my Herbie, pics on Chatelaine Support Group site, so blemishes were covered. :)
