It has been a LONG (!!) time since I've posted, and even longer since I have posted regularly. I had trouble getting my pictures to upload and lost my post twice, so I'm going to post these now and will add more detail when I finish the pieces. The box itself is finished (Judy Odell's instructions are fantastic), and the rest will be done soon.

I've also finished Hawaiian Garden and much of Venice since my last post. Hopefully it won't be another two years before I post those pictures, ha.

Hi from Mexico!!

Hello, my name is Yany, and I have been stitching for about 20 years. I want to thank Joyce and Sooz for this wonderful blog! A few years ago, someone tell me about this wonderful designs by Martina, and since then, I'm a fanatic!

I've only finish one big design, Covent's Herbal Garden, changing the center, and adding bicones in the corners.

I also finished a little bag with the Dragonfly freebbie design, the Mystery XII tryout as a box cover, and the center of CHG as a exchange gift:
And of course I have many Chatelaine's works in progress:

My main WIP is White Nights of St Petersburg:Misty Morning Vineyard:
Mystery XII King's Vegetable Garden:
Japanese Octagon Box:Japanese Garden:
Christmas Mystery II:
Taj Mahal:

Sorry for the many pics, but is really nice to share this great addiction :)

Right now, I'm in love with Venice Mandala, I saw some WIP pics, and IT'S AMAZING!!! I'll be waiting Svetlana wonderful progress pics. Perhaps I'll buy this kit next Xmas or so, cause lets face it, I have already a lot to play with...

Hugs from México!!

Heather's intro

Hi everybody! I'm Heather and my blog is Sinister Craftiness (I'm left-handed, hence the name). I'm a SAHM to two boys, ages 15 and 5. I love Martina's incredibly detailed patterns, creative designs, the silks and sparklies ... what can I say, I love it all!

I finished the Japanese Octagon Box in September 2010. It's stitched on Meadow Mist 32 count Belfast linen with the recommended threads. The complete set of progress pictures can be seen on my blog.

Currently I'm working on two Châtelaine WIPs: first, the Peacock Garden Mandala. I wasn't able to begin this one when last year's group started, but I'm slowly picking away at it. It's stitched on Fairy Dust 32 count Belfast linen with the recommended threads.

My other WIP is the Stitching Leporello, which I started last month as part of the Crazy January Challenge. It's stitched on Cream 32 count Belfast linen with the recommended threads.

The Chinese Garden Mandala is going to join my WIPs, too. I'm in love with the preview pictures, and hope I can keep up with the group this time.
