CUBAN Mansions Mandala
I've gotten some good progress done on this. Only two more archways, some trees and flowers, and finish off the border. The end is in sight! :)

My Very First Châtelaine Finish!
I was so inspired by everyone's pictures, I just had to finish my Tiny Rose Mandala Garden! It's a freebie, and it's small, but it's so pretty! Now I think I am ready to tackle a full size mandala garden!!!
I stitched it on a purple Opalescent Silkweaver Solo I had laying around.

I am only stitching one Chatelaine though I admit I put it aside for awhile & did not pull it out until Miss Joyce roped me into this blog. I did start Watergarden quite some ago with a friend & we ended up putting it aside so I guess I'll have to dig that one out too.
Here are pics of my Convent's Herbal Garden. I love the colors in this one. First pic is a close-up of some specialty stitches & the other is the over progress so far. I can't figure out how to get the pics below my text.

Chatelaine - every day!
Hello everyone who loves Chatelaine, as I do.
My name is Svetlana. I'm from Russia, Moscow.
I really like all the old and new designs! I want to embroider everything of course. (Smile)
Therefore plans are big. I have a Blog where I share my thoughts about what I embroider.
Good luck!

Charbs' Intro
Hi, I too am new, both to the blog and to Chatelaines, so I'm not able to post any gorgous finishes. In fact this picture shows the sum total of all of the Chatelaine stitching I have ever done! This is my Winter Watergarden, half way through part 2.
I am loving it though and I think I may well become an addict. I will be starting Chinese Garden in April and I can't wait. If you are just surfing by and are tempted but a bit nervous to try your first Chatelaine I say go for it!! It has been much easier and exciting than I ever imagined. (I am a bit of a techno phobe!)

Jill's introduction
Hi Everyone! After seeing Martina post the link to this blog recently at the yuku board I knew it was just what I needed to get back to my poor, neglected Chatelaine wips! My name is Jill and I have been stitching since I was 10 (I am 32 now...). I have two kids, both boys, ages 10 and 1. I also work out of the home part-to-full time (depending on the week) as an electrical engineer. I have learned that even 5 minutes of stitching here and there will eventually add up to a finish! I've finished a handful of Chatelaine designs, have 8 in progress, and 30 or so fully kitted and ready to start anytime. I first found Martina's lovely designs when Convents Herb Garden was a mystery and the original castle design (which I have) was available as a kit directly from Martina. I have had to slow down my kitting of recent designs, but I still fully intend to stitch everything of hers...someday!
Some of these pictures aren't the best quality but I want to include a few of my earlier finishes anyway. Hopefully I can get some good light and take some newer pictures at some point. For now, here are my finished Chatelaines!
Next time I'll post some wip pictures!
