Here is the end of my part One.
I realise that there is a line of back-stiches that is not at the right place on the smaller house.. I have missed as well with some green crosses. Will add them now ...
Doing this part one, although challenging, has been great !

French Potager
Hi to everyone,
I am new at the Chatelaine Stitchers. I'm a stitching father, leaving in the Alps, married with two kids of 11 and 13. You can find my blog here www.loisirsensavoie.over-blog.fr
Below a picture of my WIP on the Mistery XVI .. an house made of dozens of different coulours, some beeing silks. A true confetti house as martina says in the instructions.
I am registered as well to the Pomarium which will start end of the month.
Of course this farm house will be easier to see once all the black back-stitches will be there !

Polar Beauty Mandala
Hello to my fellow stitchers.
I haven't stitched a Chatelaine for over a year but this one caught my eye, so in November I made a start on it. Stitched 1 over 1 on 32ct Antique Belfast Linen, I have finally finished part 1. I ordered by threads in November from ECC and they finally arrived last week due to the hold up with some threads from Gloriana, so they are just in time for me to start part 2 (in between looking after 6 Golden Retrievers- 1 a 4 month old puppy!)

French Country Garden
It's been a while since I've posted here. I had a major stitching slump last year and have only recently got back into the Chatelaine groove. But I've made up for that with a few purchases...I've bought Butterfly Lace and ordered the kit, Dragonfly Lace and a bunch of threads for it (I already had quite a few in stash), th chart for Herbularius, and this...
Heaps of solid stitching in this part! I *might* get it done before part two comes out...we'll see. I have to say, it looks a lot better now I've started adding backstitch, it was kind of blobby looking before!

A new year, a new project!
In december I've got a frame to stitch on ( I don't know how it's called in english) and I started a new project.
The Hummingbird Mandala. I'm also still working on the Taj Mahal and the Mystery but at the moment the Hummingbird is my favorit. Here are some pictures of all of them.
First three pictures are from the Hummingbird, next two are the Taj Mahal and the last three the Mystery.
Regards,
Linda

Desert Landscapes Mandala, pt 2
After languishing on the shelf for nearly a year, my Desert Landscapes Mandala part 2 is finished!
Now I can finally move on to part 3, whew! I love this design, but the backstitching of part 2 nearly did me in. I am amazed by anyone who can wait until the end to do backstitching (or adding beads). If I didn't do it as I go, I think I'd never finish anything. :)
